To add to this the UK is a great place to live and study, with a rich diversity of cultures, languages, and faiths. International students are welcomed across the UK and are a valued part of the student population in British universities.

UK higher education applications are made through UCAS and many international students will need to apply for a visa to study in the UK. Universities will advise all applicants what standard of English is required for their courses and most course providers will ask students to demonstrate proficiency in English or to take an approved English language test if English is not their first language.
