Travel the World with CEC’s CELTA Course!

It has been an eventful week for Cork-based English language school CEC (Cork English College) to say the least! As well as winning 2 prestigious awards at the Irish Education Awards (Best Language School) and the Cork Business Association’s President’s Dinner (Cork Business of the Year – Medium Category), they still managed to find time to announce their new English teaching CELTA course.

What is CELTA Course?

This introductory teaching qualification (awarded by Cambridge Assessment English) called the CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) is recognised across the world and is used by thousands of students every year to realise travel dreams and teach English abroad. There are other similar courses available but the Cambridge Assessment English course is largely accepted as the very best and is by far the most popular for both students and for potential employers of language teachers across the globe.

Who is CELTA for?

If you long for international travel but are quite not sure how then this could be the perfect option for you. Whether you have taught before, perhaps other languages, or just have a passion for teaching and travel but lack the experience, then the CEC CELTA, recognised worldwide, could be for you.

This course has been established for many years and led to thousands of people teaching in places like Asia and Latin America. The course puts a focus on things like the analysis of the English language, planning for teaching and of course lots of work in developing your teaching skills and classroom management skills.

When does the first CELTA Course at CEC start?

CEC has very high teaching standards and has continued with this ethos via the English teaching CELTA. The next CELTA planned by CEC takes place from May 5th to 29th. It is an intensive (9 to 5, 5-days a week) but the equally rewarding course and CEC are happy to hear from applicants now.
