IH Cape Town is part of the vast IH World Organisation – a global network of 160 schools in over 50 countries. They teach thousands of students every year and many choose to learn in the wonderful country of South Africa.
The IH Cape Town school is situated in the heart of Sea Point, which is a residential area only 100m from the beach front – a lively place to be with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
IH Cape Town offers all types of courses including English for specific purposes – Aviation English, English for Engineering, Nursing & Healthcare, Administration & Secretaries, Real Estate. English and Safari packages (Wow!), Study and Work programs, Volunteering. There is also an English plus surfing course!!
The staff at the schools will help you with everything you need. Residential accommodation is only 5 minutes walk from the centre or students can choose from budget hotels, backpackers or host families. All accommodation options are within walking distance of the school.

NEW! English for 50+ is now available at IH Cape Town.An amazing English course created for more mature students who want to learn English and explore beautiful South African culture. The programme includes also an engaging leisure programme designed specifically for this age group. This course is available from October 2019 to March 2020 starting on the 1. Monday of each month (7. October, 4. November, 2. December, 6. January, 3. February, 2. March) and is subject to availability.
