International House Bristol
About the school
Set in the hills of South West England on the banks of the River Avon, you will find the beautiful city of Bristol.
The city has a population of just over 500,000, and features two famous universities, many pubs, restaurants, museums and cinemas. It is a friendly, safe and attractive city which was a former port with rich maritime history that has become a cultural hub in the UK – the perfect destination for your language course.
International House Bristol has two centres – both located in Clifton – one of Bristol’s most popular areas, only a 15 minute walk to the city centre and the harbour.
The school has everything you need as an international student. The staff, from the Directors to the teachers and reception staff all have a passion for helping you to learn and enjoy your time in Bristol. They have been doing this for 32-years!
As well as great classroom space with modern equipment, there are student computers and free wi-fi access. You can also use the amazing study room outside of class time which is full of exam practice worksheets, books and magazines. There is also a teacher available all the time to help you with your studies. IH Bristol also arrange events outside the school to suit your interests and show you how amazing Bristol and the surrounding areas are. They are very proud of their city and want you to love it as much as they do by going on a harbour tour or boat trip, visit one of the museums or go on a ‘Pirate Walk’!
Every Saturday there is a full day excursion to nearby cities, so you also get to see places like London, Oxford, Bath or even visit famous Stonehenge.
