International English Language Tests to Resume at Cork English College
Cork English College are delighted to announce that their International English language tests (IELTS and OET) will be resuming in July .
In order to facilitate IELTS candidates whose test were cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis, they have increased the number of Computer-Delivered tests they will be offering. The tests can now be taken on 14th, 16th, 21st and 23rd July and they will add more dates if there is demand.
CEC is experienced in running regular IELTS tests, and the computer-delivered tests will follow the same format as Paper-Based except candidates answer listening, reading and writing sections on a computer. The speaking section remains the same as before, done face-to-face with an examiner.
Candidates who sit the Computer-Delivered IELTS test receive an IELTS certificate, Test Report Form, so the result is recognised globally by over 10,000 recognising organisations in 150 countries.
All tests will take place in the College. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have a limit of 6 candidates per test in order to adhere to strict 2-meter social distancing guidelines. The listening, reading and writing take place in the morning with the speaking held in the afternoon.
CEC hopes to hold their next Paper-Based IELTS test on 18th July and OET on 25th July.
