Host Family Appreciation Evening at CEC

Homestay families are a vital part of a study abroad experiences. For international students, many away from home for the first time, welcoming home is as important as a good school!

On Wednesday, November 13th, Cork English College hosted an appreciation evening to celebrate the invaluable contribution their host families make to the student experience and to thank them for their continued support. Over 60 host families were welcomed by CEC’s founder and other staff members for a great evening at the Metropole Hotel in Cork. They mingled together to share their experiences of hosting students from all over the world.
