When you’re learning English, it’s important to keep your motivation up and utilise a variety of resources to improve skills. Online resources offer a fun and flexible way to supplement more formal learning.
Welcome to Learning English from Cambridge Assessment English – a range of more than 80 free online activities allowing adults and children to practise and improve their English in fun and flexible ways.
B1 and B2 Level activities
Cambridge has over 50 online activities aimed at intermediate learners (B1-B2). These focus on the full range of skills and offer short educational chunks that can be done at any time to support other learning.
To improve listening skills, Cambridge has developed a new audio series, Virtually Anywhere. Each of the seven episodes of the series come with B1-B2 level activities to help learners practise the focused language.
New App! Exam Lift
Cambridge Assessment English utilises a whole range of apps to support language learning including their new Exam Lift app. This offers a flexible way to practise and develop the reading and writing skills needed for the B1 Preliminary for Schools exam and is available on the Google Play Store in Spain, Portugal, UK, Italy and Vietnam.
Videos and social networking with Cambridge
The Cambridge English Global Facebook page offers great opportunities to take part in quizzes, to talk to other English language learners and learn on the go. Cambridge English TV on YouTube offers helpful tips on exam practice and lots of English language learning advice. The Cambridge English Instagram page allows opportunities to learn together, and speak to the world.
